Android Play Store Listing Audit Checklist: Graphics, Text, Ratings

Play is crowded. A weak short description and cropped screenshots lose the tap before anyone reads your privacy policy.

Assets that do the selling

Feature graphic that still works when Play crops aggressively. Screenshots that show the primary task in the first two frames.

Short description: one job statement users would type into search. Long description: proof, permissions rationale, and what’s new — not keyword porridge.

Trust checklist

Data safety form matches reality. Target API level current enough that Play does not nag. Ratings not propped up by an ancient launch spike.

If “What’s new” is empty for months, browsers assume the app is maintenance-mode even when the binary is fine.

Schedule the audit

AuditHQ Android projects track listing quality and peers so graphic and copy experiments sit next to score history — not in a forgotten Drive folder.
